Marking European Cyber Security Month in October

During October, the Serbian National Internet Domain Name Registry Foundation (RNIDS) is organising a series of talks and a panel debate as part of European Cyber Security Month, initiated by ENISA, the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security.

This is the third time RNIDS is taking part in this event, which will be marked this year by a series of events in October. All the events will be held in Belgrade and entry is free to all interested parties.

13th October Cyber-threats and web security – talk at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering

Faculty of Electrical Engineering (Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 73), room no. 62 – 5 pm to 7 pm.

On personal web security, malicious software, social engineering and ways to protect yourself and improve in the area of cyber-security. Speakers:

  • Igor Franc, senior lecturer at Metropolitan University
  • Jovan Šikanja, security administrator at the company Limundo
  • Aleksandar Kostadinović, systems administrator at RNIDS

15th October: panel debate – Mobile Safety in Serbia

ArtGet Gallery of the Belgrade Cultural Centre (Knez Mihailova 6/I) – 11 am to 3 pm.
